We often wonder, why do so many people subject themselves to the disappointment of awful accommodation, poor customer service and dreadful travel delays to leave our beautiful country? You can't even guarantee good weather - especially to short haul destinations - outside of the peak summer months.
The beaches in Northumbria are arguably the best in the whole of the UK and our countryside, with so many magnificent castles and quaint towns and villages to explore, is breathtaking. There are so many good places to eat out or shop for delicious locally produced food and preparing it yourself in a well-equipped and cosy country cottage is a real pleasure. You can also be sure of a warm welcome in Warkworth. There are so many things to do and excellent places to visit, eat and shop, you'll be spoilt for choice! And of course our holiday homes are just that; as comfortable and well-equipped as your own (more so for some people, as we're often told!).
If you're thinking of bringing your dog on holiday, Northumbria is one of the few counties in the UK that allows them free access to our beaches - they're so vast that there's room for everyone. Young or old, they will love the beaches and our riverside walks. They're also very welcome in most of our local pubs!

As well as full weeks, we now offer short breaks across all of our properties right through the year. Choose from either a 'Weekend' break - Friday to Monday (3 nights), or a 'Midweek' break - Monday to Friday (4 nights). These breaks offer incredible value for money and can make it easier for you to fit in that extra holiday you're yearning for!
