A welcome new addition to our collection is this stylish cottage situated in the popular coastal village of Alnmouth.
Newly renovated to an impeccable standard. Estuary Cottage provides a luxurious holiday retreat for couples or families at any time of the year. Cosy and comfortable, it has a pleasant and versatile garden for sitting and dining out and a view through the trees of the Aln Estuary.
It's just a few minutes' easy stroll to fabulous Alnmouth beach and the heart of the historic village, with its Ballamory style houses and a good range of friendly pubs, restaurants, shops and the very popular Old School Art Gallery. Its location is also central within Northumberland, thereby giving easy access to all the attractions including Bamburgh, The Farne Islands, Holy Island, the medieval and picturesque village of Warkworth and Alnwick, with the world famous Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle which was the setting for Harry Potter's Hogwarts School as well as Braveheart. Estuary Cottage is in the heart of great walking and cycling country too.
Sleeps up to 6 in 2 double (kingsize) and one twin rooms plus a cot if required. One well-behaved dog welcome.

Lounge
A spacious and comfortable south facing lounge with an attractive electric stove, large flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player. Selection of books, music and DVD's.
Dining Kitchen
The kitchen is contemporary in style and imaginatively designed with attractive tiling and colour scheme. It's very spacious, with a large dining table and chairs and also an additional area with 2 tub chairs and a coffee table. French windows open out onto the attractive garden, which has recently been landscaped. Windows on two elevations let in plenty of natural light and there is a lovely partial view of the Aln Estuary. The kitchen has all the usual appliances, including Electric inset oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, washer/dryer and dishwasher.

First Floor
Master Bedroom
A comfortable room with a kingsize double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. Ensuite 'wet room' style with a large walk in shower, wash hand basin and toilet. Luxury bed linen and towels. Cot available upon request (please bring your own cot bedding).
Bedroom Two (below left)
A sunny room with a large double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Luxury bed linen and towels provided.
Bedroom Three (below right)
Twin room with 2 full size single beds, wardrobe and drawers. Ideal for adults or children. Luxury bed linen and towels provided.

A beautifully tiled family bathroom with a luxury whirlpool bath, large walk in shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Towels provided
Gardens
To the south-facing front and west facing side of the cottage is an enclosed landscaped garden with gravel. To the rear there is a garden, again enclosed, with a raised decking area with patio table and chairs. The garden is perfect for sitting out or dining in the warmer months and you can just see the Aln Estuary through the trees, from where the cottage derives its name. The view is partially obstructed by trees in full leaf during the Spring and Summer months and a small building.
Situation
Just across the road from the cottage is a lovely path alongside the estuary, leading to the beautiful beach in Alnmouth. The village centre is an easy 5-10 minute walk from the cottage.
Estuary Cottage is situated on the main road into Alnmouth village, which we would not describe as particularly busy, but you will be able to hear some traffic noise from the rooms at the front of the house and whilst sitting outside.

Parking
Parking is on a private driveway in front of the house for one car and two more can be parked on the roadside in front of the house. There are no parking charges.

Estuary Cottage has been assessed by VisitEngland and awarded a grading of 4 Stars and also awarded a prestigious GOLD Award for excellence. In addition to this, further awards have been granted for the quality of the welcome and facilities provided to families, walkers and pets.
