Travelling by Car

Travelling by Train
If you are travelling by train, use this link to find out about train times. The nearest rail station is "Alnmouth" which is about one mile north of Warkworth village. You are advised to book a taxi to take you from the rail station to your cottage. ABC Taxis can be contacted on 01665 603000 to book a local taxi.
The nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport which is approximately 25 miles south of Warkworth. You could either hire a car at the airport upon your arrival to drive to Warkworth, which is advisable in order to make getting out and about easier, or take a taxi from the rank outside the airport terminal.

Travelling by Bus

Magdalene House, Coquet View, Sunny Cottage, Ceolwulph Cottage, Tall Trees and Waterside are all located at the foot of majestic Warkworth Castle, close to banks of the River Coquet, as shown within the pink circle. Lane End and Hotspur cottages are located close to the church, still within the loop of the river, in the heart of the village. The beach can just be seen in the top right corner of this map ('PC' is public car park) and is approx. 3/4 mile from the heart of the village.
