Sleeps 5 "Perfect for Families"

Waterside is a very special holiday home in an enviable
location directly fronting onto the River Coquet, with fabulous river views from one side of the house - particularly from the pretty patio garden - and with views of Warkworth Castle from all rooms on the other side. Sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms, plus up to 2 cots and highchairs, if required.
Waterside caters particularly well for children, with lots of baby equipment available upon request including 2 cots, 2 highchairs, stairgates, sterilisers, baby seats, a pushchair and a babysitting service. There are lots of toys for older children too, including the use of a Playstation 2 games console with several games, digital TV channels and DVD's. They will particularly enjoy spotting the local wildlife from the patio garden. The beach is a short walk away and the magnificent castle - which is perfect for children to explore and run around in - is just yards from the cottage.
" The house and its location far exceeded our expectations, and those were high based on what we found on the website. A perfect weekend, Warkworth Castle is a hidden gem and an excellent place to explore. Thank you." Carol and Chris from Derbyshire stayed at Waterside in November 2007.
Waterside is located in the heart of picturesque and historic Warkworth Village, just a minute’s stroll to the good range of pubs, tea rooms, the well-stocked village store, interesting specialist shops and notable art galleries. The pretty River Coquet, onto which Waterside faces, surrounds the village on 3 sides and has an abundance of wildlife including seals, herons, swans, kingfishers and many breeds of migrating sea birds. The Coquet Estuary is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Binoculars are provided for birdspotting from the house. There are wonderful walks around the riverbanks, passing the ancient fortified bridge, 8th C. St. Lawrence Church, an ancient Hermitage, carved from rock and accessible only by rowing boat and Magnificent Warkworth Castle. Beautiful and vast Warkworth Beach is just a 15 minute stroll away (or take the car), with its dramatic dunes and far reaching views as far north as Alnmouth and south to Coquet Island and Amble.
" This is a beautiful area with lots to see and do. The house is lovely - the kids want to live here - thanks!" The Gordon-Rigby family from Scotland stayed at Waterside in October 2007.
The architecture of Waterside and its location is impressive, but it's the interior which is particularly stunning, with furnishings and fittings brought together with thoughfulness and panache, creating a unique, contemporary styled home with some special features.
