This sensitively restored 19th century cottage is located right on the riverbank with river views from the lounge, bedroom and bathroom. An abundance of wildlife can be watched from the cottage or from a seat on the riverbank next to the cottage, such as seals, herons, foxes, swans and ducks, salmon leaping, returning terns and swallows. Many of our guests take a bottle of wine and glasses and sit on the riverbank just outside the cottage on balmy summer evenings. Beautifully furnished and very well equipped with everything you could need. Sleeps 2 but can also accommodate a child under 16 on a folding bed, if required, for a small additional charge or a cot free of charge. Awarded 4 Stars in Visit Britain's "Quality in Tourism" scheme.

Ground Floor:
Entrance hall.
Spacious and cosy lounge with living flame gas fire. Dining area. River views. TV with Freeview, DVD, VHS, hi-fi, telephone, library of books, DVD’s, videos and CD’s. Playstation 2 with games (upon request).
Kitchen with electric fan-assisted oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with ice-box, washer/dryer and coffee-maker.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1 – bright and spacious room with kingsize bed. Folding bed for a child available for a small additional charge upon request, or cot available free of charge. Beautiful river view.
Large bathroom with lovely river and countryside views, bath, shower, whb and WC.
Please be aware that the cottage still has its original 'small step' staircase, which has treads of a smaller height and depth than todays staircases. If you have any problems with mobility, please call for clarification before booking.
