In the heart of the beautiful, historic village of Warkworth, this architect designed stone-built house sits in an quiet
spot at the foot of Warkworth Castle. Close to the riverbank and the beach, providing wonderful walks, its just a minute's walk from the centre of the village, where you'll find a great Village Store, bursting with all the essentials, as well as a myriad of quaint little shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and pubs. All the attractions of Northumberland are within easy driving distance, as well as several golf courses, horse riding, swimming and watersports.
The house is furnished beautifully with high quality furnishings throughout, giving it a relaxing and comfortable feel. It has been graded 5 Stars by the English Tourism Organisation, VisitBritain. Spacious enough for a family of 6 or 7, or 3 couples, yet cosy and comfortable for just a couple on their own, it sleeps 6 in 1 king-size, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom with 2 bathrooms. A folding bed is available upon request suitable for an extra child for a small additional charge and cots, highchairs and other baby equipment are available upon request mostly free of charge. Wi-fi broadband access is available free of charge and there is a house payphone. Parking is provided on a private drive in front of the house and secure cycle storage is available in the attached garage.
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome by arrangement.
Ground Floor: Spacious well equipped kitchen open to dining area, which in turns opens to a lounge area with large flat screen HDTV with Freeview, DVD and Hi-Fi. Double french windows open out onto a private, south-facing, hard landscaped garden with pretty planting, table and chairs. The garden is secure for children and pets.
First Floor: Lounge with electric coal-effect fire in stylish black marble surround. Large flat screen digital TV with DVD and Freeview. (See photo at top of page.)
Bedroom 2: Bright and comfortable room with double bed.
Bedroom 3: Sunny and spacious room with 2 single beds. Family bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC.
Second Floor: Large suite, occupying the whole of the top floor, king-size bed with luxury pocketsprung mattress, large en-suite bathroom with bath, large walk-in shower cubicle, basin and wc.
Tall Trees is located just yards from the pretty banks of the River Coquet and Magnificent Warkworth Castle. You can easily walk or drive to the beach as it's just under a mile away. All the amenities of the village including cosy pubs, restaurants, shops and art galleries and the well-equipped village store are just a minute's stroll away.
