They can provide a unique bottle of something special for a special occasion, or a case of specially recommended wines to enjoy during your holiday They can even deliver it to you at your cottage as they have an on-line store and delivery service. They also hold brilliant wine tasting events in Rothbury and can arrange a tasting session just for you by arrangement.

Crown Studio - Artist's Studio in Rothbury
Great little artist-run studio and exhibition space of ceramic artist Graham Taylor and painter Lynda Taylor. The only Rothbury gallery selling exclusively work by professional artists. The gallery stocks a wide range of paintings, prints, pots, jewellery, ceramic sculpture, photographs and cards at prices to suit all pockets.

The Garden Station
Is a delightful restored railway station, situated in a lovely woodland garden setting at Langley on Tyne, not far from Haydon Bridge and Hadrian's Wall. Low cost insurance to cover you for most eventualities if you have to cancel your holiday. There are many companies offering travel insurance cover, simply search on the internet for 'UK travel insurance' to find a wide selection.
Here are a couple of suggestions though - these are companies that we know our guests have used previously, but as we have no direct experience of them, we cannot actual recommend them as such, it's up to you to ensure the cover they offer will meet your needs:
Schofields UK Travel Insurance Specifically designed for self catering cottage holidays. Provides up to £1000 cover as standard for up to 8 days for £20 (policies for longer periods and additional top-up cover available up to £3000).
Tesco Travel Insurance with single trip cover from a few pounds.
Rothwell & Towler This company offers two forms of insurance; Guest First and Hotelsure. Guest First is standard holiday cancellation insurance suitable for most family and individual needs and Hotelsure is similar but with the added benefit of having no age or health restrictions.
