“It was truly 5*. We loved the decor of the cottage - it was just perfectly in keeping with the way we live and what we like. It was the attention to detail - the fresh flowers, the bread, cake, eggs and honey was such a lovely welcome. We felt so at home and staying at the cottage was part of the experience - in fact we only went out for dinner one night. We were very relaxed and enjoyed all the comforts that Percy Street provided. “The whole experience was a complete joy! We booked for our wedding as we got married at the Alnwick Gardens and wanted a base for the week to relax and see family. The whole booking process was smooth, efficient and very friendly. Upon check in we found the lovely owners had left flowers, champagne, a lovely wedding card and some gorgeous homemade cakes. This was such a special touch. We were also overwhelmed that whilst at the wedding the owners did a mini-valet of the cottage and decorated our bed with flowers garlands, balloons and ribbons. This made a perfect day even more perfect. We would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone... Its location, cleanliness, well stocked kitchen and all the little touches made our stay just perfect. We can't thank you enough!”

“The cottage was really nicely appointed and had everything we needed to make our holiday really great. Our dog really loved the dog bed and preferred it to his own – he was quite sad to leave it behind so I think we will have to get him a similar one now we are home! The welcome pack was lovely and the home made cake was a real treat which we used in our picnics. “The décor of the cottage was absolutely gorgeous and it was so well equipped that it really felt like home. We didn’t have to shop for essentials like washing up liquid, tin foil etc, which is often frustrating. The location was great for seeing the sites in Alnwick and beyond.
