“Nice property, well maintained, option to have PlayStation was good although we did not actually have time to use it. Bears on the beds were very much appreciated by the children and were a nice touch. Wi-Fi was also very useful and will be something I look for as a must have elsewhere in future.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our week. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend the ‘Puffin Cruise’ at Amble and we went to the Spurelli Boutique Ice Cream Parlour which is right next to the harbour at Amble. Flavours of bubble gum, salted caramel, dime bar, American cheesecake etc. had us visiting twice!! Ozzy loved the welcome treat and was made most welcome at The Masons Arms – lovely food there. “Lovely place for a holiday. Fantastic beaches, great places to visit, lots of wonderful castles – Warkworth has been a real hit with our 5 year old! If you visit Bamburgh, make sure to stop at the catcher – the best sausages ever!! The house is great with everything we could ever need and more! “Great place to stay. Helped that the weather was fab! Whatever you do, eat at the Tree House at Alnwick Gardens – for ambience as well as quality of food but book in advance. “Julie and Mark, thank you once again for a fantastic week away. We have had a lovely time at ‘Tall Trees’. The weather has been kind as long as we stuck close to the coast. We love walking for miles at Druridge Bay, there is so much space for three energetic Weimaraners to run. We even made it to Ross Sands which has to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. We are always overwhelmed how dog friendly everyone and everywhere is up here. Hope to see you both soon. Hopefully we will be back in October. “Lovely house – brilliant location. Recommend The Hermitage in town for carvery at weekend. The Masons Arms opposite particularly the steak night on Wednesdays. “We usually travel a wee bit further North and stay Bamburgh/Beadnell area but Warkworth is a perfect base for many visits to Northumberland! Idyllic. A real gem and our hearts are heavy as we pack up to head home to North Yorkshire.. (A massive bonus is luxury accommodation that is dog friendly!! Thanks from Oli for all the dog snacks!) Bamburgh Castle is a great visit (with a lovely tea mm!) The Farne Islands also beautiful and we saw lots of seals. This is a great part of the North East and a week did not really seem long enough! “Had a perfect holiday in a lovely house and a wonderful location. The beach walks were great, Bella the spaniel loved it. Had a great day out at Belsay Hall, castle and gardens which is really dog friendly and only 30 minutes’ drive away. Looking forward to a return visit to Warkworth and surrounding areas just lovely. “Our third visit to Warkworth and Tall Trees and we are certainly looking forward to the fourth. We have everything here we need and this year the weather was a bonus! The village is as beautiful as ever, pretty flowers everything – in the gardens and in the meadows. We enjoyed the last of the evening sun at Boulmer, watched the birds and the cobles being pulled ashore by tractor. More than anything we have enjoyed the peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and quiet roads. "Beautiful location and a very comfortable, well-appointed house. Despite an icy start to the week, we have had a fantastic holiday and enjoyed the beach (somewhat windswept!), castles (Alnwick was a real treat, especially for the children) and coastal scenery. "Great holiday, agree with the definition of "Luxury", very comfortable and relaxing. Archie the dog enjoyed his welcome at the Masons Arms! "Tall Trees is by far the best self-catering holiday accommodation we have stayed in. The house is beautiful and in a very pleasant location, it is everything we want for our holiday - quality accommodation, rural location, pretty village and a fantastic beach. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here with our dogs and agree with the previous guests "who needs to go abroad?". Warkworth beach is particularly lovely early morning and early evening. We also enjoyed the beaches at Seahouses and Bamburgh. Alnwick and Alnmouth are also nice places to visit. Can't wait to return next year!" Rita and John with Hettie and Jemma.

"Fantastic accommodation, lots of lovely personal touches. Very friendly manager, Julie. Great location for days out. Can't believe how many places we got to, including the Metro Centre. So close to the river - Danny's heaven (although couldn't catch a salmon). One week was not long enough here, we are hoping to pursuade grandparents to join us up here next Summer. thank goodness for Google, otherwise we would have missed out on this beautiful part of the world. "A long weekend was not enough time to enjoy this lovely cottage and its beautiful country surroundings! Everything you could possibly want to see and do is on your doorstep and unfortunately we only got to sample a little of it! You are made to feel very welcome. I was even left a birthday card and gift from Julie, which was much appreciated. We will definitely recommend the cottage to others and will no doubt be returning ourselves. Bye for now." "We all had a great time at Tall Trees, the house is very nice and very comfortable. Warkworth is a very beautiful village and has all that you need. We highly recommend the Hermitage Inn for good and staff very nice (you won't be left hungry!). The cottage is very central for all of the nearby attractions.
