Master Bedroom
A beautiful and spacious bedroom with a double bed and plenty of storage. Flat screen digital TV. Luxury bed linen by The White Company. Glazed doors lead directly onto a patio and enclosed rear garden. With a restful ambience, you can unwind and relax Northumbrian style.

Children's Bunk Room
A lovely room, directly opposite the double bedroom, with bunk beds for children of a maximum age of 12yrs. Luxury bedlinen supplied by The White Company.

Bathroom

The bathroom is adjacent to both bedrooms and is decorated in fresh neutral hues.
It has a full size bath, shower over and a folding glass shower screen.
There is a WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
The cottage has full gas-fired central heating with radiators throughout.
Outside
The Bridge Barn has a lovely private patio garden to sit out in. Being situated adjacent to the village Millennium Garden and the ancient bridge, it has a lovely open outlook. The warm sandstone walls create a tranquil sun trap, perfect to relax in after a day on the beach or exploring the coastline. There is a table and chairs to seat 4, and a BBQ for dining alfresco. Or take the easy option and enjoy a glass of chilled wine in the evening sun, followed by a stroll to dinner at a local restaurant, just yards from the cottage.

The Bridge Barn is also an ideal base for walkers and cyclists, as there is a wealth of great walks and cycle routes in the area. Cycles can be stored in a lockable shed adjacent to the cottage.
First Floor
The first floor is accessed via a wooden staircase and is open plan to create a light and airy space. This main living area is upstairs to take advantage of the magnificent view of Warkworth Castle.
Kitchen Area
Spacious and well equipped kitchen in relaxing Farrow and Ball hues. All the appliances you should require for your holiday are here, including a stainless steel electric oven, gas hob, full size dishwasher, washer/dryer, larder fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. The large central island provides a great space for preparing meals and reflecting on a great day out.

Dining Area
The dining area has a large oak table and 6 rattan high back chairs and is positioned to create a natural divider between the kitchen and lounge areas. It's also positioned to take advantage of the fabulous view through a large picture window of Warkworth Castle across the medieval burgages of the village.

Lounge Area
With fabulous views of the castle by day and a cosy and intimate ambience at night, the lounge area is a designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The stove is gas-fired. There is a large flat screen TV with digital channels, a DVD player and Bose iPod sound dock, with an iPod provided for your enjoyment pre-loaded with a wide variety of music. There is a small selection of board games for all ages and a box of toys. Wi-fi broadband is provided throughout the cottage.

Parking
Parking is available just around 75 yds from the cottage in the adjacent (quiet) side road. You can see this road from the garden of the cottage. There are no parking charges.

Where exactly is The Bridge Barn?
The Bridge Barn is situated in the beautiful, friendly village of Warkworth in Northumberland. Adjacent to the ancient Norman fortified bridge, there are lovely walks around the riverbank, which is teeming with local wildlife such as herons, foxes, kingfishers, ducks and swans and even seals at high tide.
