Reservations Assistant

A Reservations Assistant is required to join our busy team here in beautiful Warkworth village.  Handling booking enquiries and reservations via telephone and email, liaising with our property owners and carrying out various administration duties.  Impeccable comunication and organisational skills are required, with a professional written and telephone manner.  You will need to be highly competent in the use of computer systems as the vast majority of the work involves the use of PC’s; we regularly enhance our systems to embrace the latest technology and further improve our service , so a fear of technology and a resistance to change would be a handicap in this role.

Housekeepers

In line with the expansion of our company, we regularly require new housekeepers to take responsibility for our properties.  These are not simply ‘cleaning jobs’, as we require a higher level of overall responsibility from our housekeepers.  Whilst the highest standard of cleaning is a pre-requisite of the role, we have particularly high standards and there are specific requirements of the role to ensure that our impeccably high standards are consistently achieved at every changeover.

You will need to have a true passion for providing not only a high standard of cleanliness but an appreciation of the importance of perfect presentation.  You will need to be highly reliable, possess good communication skills, be able to access emails, be contactable via mobile phone and have your own transport.  You will be assigned to a specific property in order that 100% attention is given to that one property and you can become fully familiar with all aspects of the property.  At most (but not all) properties you will be required to launder the bed linen and towels to a high standard.

Hours are variable depending upon the bookings received, but will usually be Friday’s and Mondays between 10:15am and 3:45pm.  You will work on a self-employed basis.  We have properties across the breadth of North Northumberland, so may have positions available in various areas, but would expect to match the housekeeper to the area they live in, to reduce travelling time. Whilst you will be expected to be highly competent in cleaning, training will be provided on our signature standards and style.   Pay will vary depending upon the type and size of the property you’re assigned to.
