We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cherry Tree Cottage. The house is gorgeous, the beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in, there was plenty of seating in the living room and the garden was lovely - just a shame we didn't have slightly warmer weather or we would have been sat outside on the seating area, which is very private. Our two doRead moregs loved the garden as they had plenty of space to run around and roll on the grass! There was a delicious welcome pack when we arrived; bread, butter, milk, scones, coffee, tea, biscuits and juice! It was a 2 min drive into Amble which we loved and we were close to the River Coquet which is great for nice walks and picnics. A couple of very minor points - we had an issue with the bins when we arrived which I notified Coquet Cottages about. The rubbish bin was really overflowing when we arrived and we received a text message to put the bin out an hour after we arrived, which was slightly irritating because of the state of it. It looked as though previous holiday makers maybe hadn't put it out so we ended up sorting it on our day of arrival. Another suggestion would be to have at least one more tv as there were 3 of us and we wanted to watch different things but there was only one tv. A house this size could really do with more due to the amount of people it can hold. There is plenty of space to park outfront, although there is a green directly outside of the house, so cars need to be parked maybe 12 yards away on the kerb but it wasn't a problem as the road is exceptionally quiet. All in all a great stay at Cherry Tree and we'd definitely recommend staying here and we'd love to come back! Hide

We had a lovely 3 night stay here over the weekend. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket with local bread and scones and even treats for my dog which he loved! Very spacious and well equipped. Two bedrooms were en-suite which my step kids loved! Beds were so comfy and immaculate. Everything was great would definitely recommend.

This is a very comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage, ideal for our multi-generational party. The situation on the outskirts of the village is very quiet and ideal for exploring the area, there was no issue parking on the road outside the property but we did holiday at half-term.
