Just 5 miles away, discover Beadnell, a seaside village with golden sands and sheltered waters perfect for water sports including kite surfing, kayaking, windsurfing and wakeboarding. A little further up the coast, Seahouses (6.5 miles) invites you to the harbour, where daily sea safaris set out to the Farne Islands, offering the chance to spot puffins, seals and other rare seabirds. Also nearby, Embleton (5.5 miles) and Embleton Bay (6.5 miles) promise spectacular seaside scenery, with the majestic silhouette of Dunstanburgh Castle (7.5 miles) as a backdrop.

We had a fantastic stay at Harebell House. The house is in a very quiet area, no noise at night. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable living area and bedrooms. Fabulous property in a lovely quiet location. The house is furnished to a very high standard and immaculate. Had the weather been a bit warmer we would have used the garden which was securely enclosed with plenty of outdoor seating.
