Gather your loved ones – family, friends and pets – for an unforgettable escape, where every morning, afternoon and evening is made to be enjoyed together in this welcoming five-person retreat. Perfectly positioned on the Northumberland Coast AONB, this holiday home sits in the quaint village of Embleton, just 1 mile from the marvellous Embleton Bay Beach. Pack buckets, spades and surfboards for days spent on the sandy shores, taking in the view of mighty Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance (2.5 miles) and spotting rare seabirds along the coast. For a scenic adventure, follow the Craster (3 miles) to Low Newton (2.5 miles) coastal walk, an 8-mile stretch of the county’s coastal path that offers breathtaking views of Embleton Bay. Afterwards, drop into the village for refreshments at the local pub, less than 0.5 miles away.

Renovated to an exceptional standard, this single-storey holiday home has been recently upgraded with stylish décor and contemporary comforts throughout. Step inside to the inviting lounge on the right, where a large bay window, colourful accents and comfortable seating set the scene for relaxation. A flame-effect gas fire adds a cosy glow, while the Smart TV and Bluetooth soundbar promise exceptional movie nights. At the back of the house, the spacious kitchen/diner is designed for lively gatherings. Complete with a central island, quality appliances and a dining table ready for board games or family feasts, it’s the perfect hub of the home. Three bedrooms are spread throughout the property, the largest of which is a king-size room at the front of the house. Elegantly styled with a Smart TV and a modern en-suite with a walk-in shower, it’s a haven for rest. A versatile super-king-size zip-and-link room and a cheerful single, both with Smart TVs, share a refreshing family bathroom.

On arrival, a private driveway provides space for two cars and a sunny, west-facing lawn at the front of the property. To the rear, accessible via bi-fold doors from the kitchen, lies an enclosed patio garden furnished with a rattan dining set – the ideal spot for al fresco evenings, with plenty of space for four-pawed pals to stretch their legs.

I stayed with three dogs and my elderly parents - we spent a fabulous week in this cottage. It was very well furnished and full equipped. Secure courtyard was a huge bonus as weather was lovely. Highly recommend.
