Spotless, cosy, and well-maintained, this delightful holiday home provides an unrivalled base for two guests, perfect after days exploring the Northumberland Coast. The coast lies just 10 miles away, with the iconic Holy Island Causeway 7.5 miles from your door. Cross at low tide to explore the island up close, keeping an eye out for puffins, dolphins, and seals as you wander its shoreline. A little further along, the historic village of Bamburgh awaits with its quaint shops and eateries, the RNLI Grace Darling Museum, and its dramatic seafront castle. Bamburgh is also an excellent spot for a beach day or as a starting point for invigorating hikes and bike rides along the Northumberland Coast Path. Golfers can enjoy a round at the local club here or venture to another in neighbouring Seahouses (15 miles).

Set within a collection of former corn mill buildings, this tranquil property offers complete privacy, even with the owners living on-site. Arrive via the driveway and step inside to find everything laid out across a single storey, with a few small steps between rooms. The kitchen/diner welcomes you with slate flooring, high ceilings, and exposed beams, all adding charm and character. This style continues into the lounge, where comfortable seating surrounds a wood burner and Smart TV – perfect for cosy evenings in. Local artworks dotted throughout the property lend a distinct sense of place. From the lounge, step into the bedroom, which features a double bed dressed with luxurious linens and soft bathrobes for restful nights. The gleaming bathroom, reached via the kitchen, is fitted with a shower over bath for convenience.

When the sun shines, savour the fresh Northumberland air from the privacy of your generous garden. A grassy lawn and paved patio provide plenty of space to relax – unwind beneath the parasol on bright afternoons or pull chairs into the middle of the garden after dark to admire the star-filled skies.
