Next door, the kitchen/diner provides a sociable hub, complete with a bespoke kitchen, a large dining table, bi-fold doors onto the garden and a sofa area with another Smart TV and Xbox 360. Off the hallway, you’ll find a useful utility room, shower room and additional WC for extra convenience. Upstairs, five bedrooms are spread across two wings. The first wing offers a king-size bedroom with a Smart TV, while the second includes a magnificent master suite with a king-size bed, TV, balcony seating and en-suite facilities; two super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms with a TV; a further zip-and-link king-size/twin bedroom; and a cosy bunk room ideal for children. Alongside the master en-suite, there’s another en-suite bathroom and a spacious family bathroom with a deep bath and separate walk-in shower.

This was our second stay at Lyndhurst and we could not have been happier. The house is beautiful and well equipped, with ample space and delightful garden. A very generous welcome pack awaited us on arrival. Perfect location, short walk to the beach and village.

We stayed at Lyndhurst as a family group of 6 adults with 3 dogs at the end of July. The owner very kindly telephoned beforehand and offered us early check-in, as the house was empty the week before, which was a nice touch and much appreciated. The welcome hamper was lovely, with fresh strawberries and cream in the fridge too, and some lovely floweRead morers - certainly a level above elsewhere. The house itself is very spacious, and easily accommodated us all, without ever feeling crowded. The garden to the rear was lovely to sit in and secure for the dogs to run in. There was plenty of equipment and crockery in the kitchen, which was nice. Its ideally located for the beach and Alnmouth, with other local villages just a short drive away. Hide

This was our second multigenerational stay and we all enjoyed it very much. Love walking down to the beach and on to Almouth. Our dogs love the huge clean beaches and also the big secure garden. The owners provided a lovely cot and high chair for the baby who is just walking and enjoyed all the space to play. We had some great meals out but also soRead moreme great meals in at the huge table. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Love seeing the glittering sea from the bedrooms. Hide

Three generations enjoyed the holiday. Spacious house and garden allowed us to have time together but also a quiet area could be found if desired. Utility room great for coats, shoes and drying if rainy. A good holiday home with well equipped kitchen.
