A beautifully styled apartment, in an enviable position at the heart of Northumberland’s Alnwick, this luxurious abode is perfect for couples. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom, first-floor holiday home is in an ideal location for the many attractions of the market town, including its shops and eateries. Make time to visit the castle, just 500 metres away, which appears in many scenes from the Harry Potter films, and the beautiful Alnwick Garden, 0.5 miles away, with its fountains. Venture out of town to discover the dramatic Northumberland countryside and coastline. Picture-postcard Alnmouth, where you can stroll along the beach, is 5 miles away. Tranquil Longhoughton Beach, which has wide sands and rockpools when the tide is out, is the same distance from the apartment. Plan a trip to Amble, 9 miles away, to potter in its shops and harbour outlets and to take a puffin trip out to Coquet Island.

Head into the impressive, converted stone building with its eye-catching, ground-floor glass atrium. Take the lift or climb the stairs up to the first floor, where your apartment is located. North Star is a fabulous apartment close to all amenities in Alnwick and ideally located for trips to the various wonderful beaches and towns and Villages in the surrounding area. Steve was a great host and the welcome pack was the best we have ever seen. The accommodation had everything needed and we found the beds to be cosy and comfortable. ParkRead moreing on site was an added bonus. We would definitely recommend this property. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at North Star. It was very comfortable and in a great location which meant we did less driving than we would normally do. I would definitely recommend the accommodation and we hope to stay again in the future.

North Star was a comfortable base for our first visit to Northumberland. Ideally located in the town. Very well appointed flat (I think one of the best we've stayed in.
