A beautifully designed Northumberland cottage, this attractive hideaway in Seahouses is perfect for smaller groups. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom, dog-friendly retreat is ideal for a small family or two couples on a coastal break together. Stroll 0.5 miles into the village centre to shop or dine out together in a friendly pet-welcoming pub. The beautiful, long sandy beach is 1 mile away and a firm favourite with those who enjoy paddling and swimming. Pick up the Northumberland Coast Path here or wait until the tide is out and enjoy a long walk along the sand. From Seahouses, you can wander 3 miles to Bamburgh, where you can visit the incredible castle set high on a rocky plateau overlooking the sea. From the harbour in Seahouses, take a boat trip out to the picturesque Farne Islands to see the puffins. Look out for seals and dolphins as you go.

Step inside via the front door and hall, where you can unlace your boots or slip off your wellies. Make your way through to the lounge, which has a calm ambience, created by its subtle coastal theme and an abundance of natural light. Pull back the French doors to the garden to create seamless indoor/outdoor living or switch on the wood burner-effect gas fire, depending on the season. Find your favourite television programme on the Smart TV or head through to the second smaller lounge to watch a film, read a book or find something different to stream. There is also an Xbox 360 and a Blu-Ray player in here, as well as a selection of games. The main lounge flows into the welcoming kitchen/diner, where you can congregate to cook, dine and socialise further. Set the large oak table in here for your holiday meals. Also find a family bathroom downstairs for your convenience. When you are ready to retire for the night, climb the stairs to your beautiful bedrooms. These are a super-king-size, with an en-suite bathroom, and a twin, which has zip-and-link beds that can also be arranged as a super-king-size on request to suit the needs of your party. There is also a second family bathroom.

Spend fine days out in the attractive garden. Choose whether to unwind on the stone patio or in the covered seating area. There is also a lawn here for little ones and pets to run about on. There is private parking for three cars at the property, with additional on-street space close by, subject to availability.

A home from home cottage which was situated in a very quiet col de sac at the western edge of North Sunderland so a little further walk into Seahouses than we appreciated. Coquet Cottages handled our booking excellently keeping us informed throughout the process.

We located the property easily and found everything to be in great order with a pleasant self contained garden for the dogs. The neighbourhood was quiet and overall an excellent experience. It is only 10 minutes walk in to Seahouses and also good walking to Bamburgh and Beadnell Hope to book again Phillip

An absolutely beautiful cottage that was perfect for our holiday. Everything was amazing and we loved the gorgeous hamper and beautiful flowers.

Sandpiper is a lovely house. Spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The garden and outdoor seating is great and lovely to relax in and the Snug is great for kids/teenagers to have their own space.
