From the harbour you can take a boat trip out to the secluded Farne Islands where you can spot the resident grey seals and puffins. Back inland, the thriving market town of Alnwick (17.5 miles) is known for the breathtaking Alnwick Garden and the historic Alnwick Castle. Other local attractions and landmarks along this stunning stretch of the Northumberland coast include Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum, Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and Beadnell Bay, all within 12 miles.
Entering this sweet and snug cottage, a small entrance hall leads through to the colourful and stylish lounge which features a Smart TV with Bluetooth speaker, a stone fireplace housing a wood burner effect gas fire, and ample plush seating, providing a wonderful space for you all to unwind in after a great day out. Heading back through the hall, the light-filled open-plan shaker-style kitchen/diner has a handsome oak dining table, with granite work surfaces and plenty of storage space and cooking equipment. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer, and leads along to the ground-floor WC.
