This charming and characterful home is perfect for groups of six with diverse options for sleeping arrangements. Whether you want to enjoy a day on the beach, take a stroll along the coast path, or simply take some time out, this is the perfectly positioned home. Situated in the village of Warkworth, you will find amenities such as pubs, restaurants and shops within 500 metres, and the medieval Warkworth Castle right next door. Head off on foot and take a scenic walk along the river, or across the fields to the long, sandy Warkworth Beach (1 mile). Visit the nearby fishing port of Amble (1.5 miles) where you can take a boat trip and explore rock pools. Further afield the bustling market town of Alnwick is 7.5 miles away where you can find many independent shops and restaurants, along with the spectacular Alnwick Castle, once used as a filming location for Harry Potter.

The cottage can be accessed via two doors, one leads into the spacious hallway, while the other opens into the utility room, perfect for shaking off your walking boots. The cosy lounge is decorated in calming and neutral tones and has comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a roaring wood burner housed in an exposed stone fireplace. Though compact, the kitchen is super practical and has all the useful amenities you will need to rustle up hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners. The dining room has seating for all guests set in front of the property’s original striking decorative fireplace. Completing the ground floor is a handy WC. When you are ready to rest those weary heads, climb the stairs to the three bedrooms, a characterful king-size with an en-suite shower room, a welcoming double, and a twin bedroom that can be made up as a super-king if required. The family bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a roll-top, freestanding bath.

Though there is no garden at this property, there is a small seating area set up in the courtyard next to the parking spaces. You will also find plenty of green space and walking routes around the village to enjoy.

A perfectly sized and well positioned spot for our family of six adults. Beautifully appointed with luxuriant bedding and good quality natural carpets. Superb walks/runs along the beach and river with plenty of fauna and flora to take in. The castle views from the windows are magnificent and awe inspiring.

Tower house was perfect for us - so comfortable, cosy yet spacious. Next to a busy corner in the high street but no noise.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was nicely furnished. Nice decor and very comfortable furniture. Bedrooms very comfortable and bright and airy. Bathrooms had everything you needed. Showers excellent. Kitchen had all you need. Excellent dining room. We were very disappointed that we could not use the outside seating because the bench and theRead more floor around it were covered in bird droppings. The outside of the kitchen windows had not been cleaned for some time - (dust and cobwebs) which was not a good look as you enter a property so it was a pleasant surprise to see that the interior was well looked after. Disappointment with the outside space means that we would not stay at Tower House again. Hide

Everything you need for your stay is there at Tower House. Location is great, even though it's on the corner and traffic passes by it wasn't at all noticeable. Definitely would stay again and the team at Coquet Cottages were fabulous
