Beautiful house with secure off road parking. The house is well located at the top of the quiet village of Lesbury. Surrounded by other properties but fairly private. Very comfortable and everything you could need during your stay. Didnt use the garden this year but outdoor seating is provided which is great when the weather is good. The welcome haRead moremper is excellent. Really nice touches if you are bringing your dog with treats and dog bowls provided. Very well equipped property with fully enclosed garden. You can walk to Alnmouth (takes around 30-45 mins) and its a short drive to the supermarkets in Alnwick. There is also a local village shop and a nice pub. Perfect if you want a quiet base to explore the area Hide

We had a wonderful week here. This is one of the most delightful houses I've stayed in - everything is new and very high spec (the kitchen is brilliant, with everything we could possibly have wanted, including an ice-making fridge, a Nespresso machine and amazingly complete equipment - even a slow cooker). Before going, I was a bit concerned that tRead morehe house might be noisy due to being relatively close to an A road, but the road isn't that busy and the house is really well glazed, so we never heard any traffic noise at all. The rooms downstairs are large and the furniture is very comfortable. Upstairs the beds are new and really good - we all slept well. The bathrooms are excellent, with new and again high-spec fittings and plenty of hot water for baths and great shower pressure. We really appreciated the trouble the owners had taken to make us feel at home - magazines and books, huge tvs with Netflix etc, lots of comfy seating and one of the best welcome baskets I've ever come across. The smaller sitting room was really great for us - we used it to play our musical instruments while allowing other members of the party to hang out in peace in the main room. The location is super handy for trips to the beach and to Barter Books (one of our favourite places, even just for a nice lunch or tea). Overall, we loved this house and hope to go back! Hide

We have visited the Alnmouth area for a number of years. This is the first time we have stayed in Lesbury - just a few minutes away. Larch House is a stunning home and we felt at home from the moment we opened the front door. Everything was perfect with everything we could have wanted. Lesbury is a quiet and restful village. The village shop has evRead moreerything you would need and The Coach Inn is certainly well worth a visit or two. A perfect week in a perfect home. Hide

Larch House is a wonderful holiday house, luxury accommodation, fully equipped with a beautiful enclosed garden for children to play. The hamper provided was extremely generous, as were the tasty scones. We all enjoyed our stay. The location is great being close to Alnwick and Alnmouth.
