Get some rest and relaxation at this charming home in the countryside with your group of four friends or a family. Whether you want to spend relaxing days on the coast or get back to nature, there is plenty to see and do nearby. The little village of Belford is 1 mile away and has a couple of pubs and a farm shop. Head towards the coast and find the sandy shores of Ross Back Sands (3 miles), miles of unspoilt dunes and beach where you can often spot seals and an abundance of seabirds. Visit Bamburgh (4 miles) and uncover history at the imposing castle perched atop the hillside. From here, you can join the Northumberland Coast Path that winds along the rugged shore and passes scenic views, stretching for miles in each direction.
When you are done exploring, head back to this pleasant cottage retreat and step into the hallway where there is plenty of storage for boots and coats. A WC also leads off from here. The bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides the perfect space to relax and socialise whatever the weather. Cook up tasty meals in the stylish kitchen and enjoy these homecooked delights at the dining table. At the other end of the room is a stone feature wall and a roaring wood burner, curl up on the sofa after busy days exploring and warm up on cosy winter nights. The owners have also kindly provided a selection of games for guests. When you are ready for some shuteye, climb up to the first floor where you will find the stunning master bedroom. Set beneath a high vaulted ceiling with large windows that flood the space with light is a sumptuous king-size bed. Adjacent, the second bedroom is spacious and bright, and has a super-king-size bed that can be made up as twins if required. Both bedrooms have en-suites, the master a bath with shower over, and the second bedroom a stylish en-suite shower room.
Outside, the full enclosed patio garden provides a safe space for both children and dogs. The property has two designated parking spaces.
