The centre of Amble is just 0.5 miles away, with the fabulous harbour less than 1 mile. Explore Amble’s Harbour Village, an eclectic mix of independently owned businesses and seafood sellers, all housed in brightly coloured beach huts set against a harbour backdrop. From here, follow the River Coquet along a pretty route to reach Warkworth (1 mile), home to an ancient castle, and continue a little further to discover Warkworth Beach (2.5 miles) – a destination for surfing, water sports or simply a restful beach day. From the sand, admire views of Coquet Island in the distance and look out for rare seabirds at this RSPB reserve. Golfers can tee off locally or travel up the coast to Alnmouth Golf Club (5.5 miles).

Stylishly designed with a spacious, open-plan layout, this property has been thoughtfully arranged to provide an exceptional stay. A utility room adds further convenience, while a snug-style living room with an L-shaped sofa and an additional Smart TV offers a second relaxing space. A family bathroom completes this floor. Down the modern, open-tread staircase, the ground floor is home to three bedrooms: two king-size rooms with en-suite shower rooms, and a cosy twin ideal for sharers.

Three outdoor spaces invite you to enjoy the sunshine. Two balconies lead off the first floor – one from the snug and another from the main living area – both furnished with bistro seating, perfect for a morning coffee or evening tipple with a view. This was our 3rd visit to sea Gem and probably will not be the last . Beautiful house in a great location , only a short walk to the centre of Amble and harbour. We were greeted with a very generous hamper of goodies plus milk and butter in the fridge . Quality toiletries and everything you could need for a grea5 stay .

Seagem is an amazing property in a quiet location but a stones throw away from Amble harbour. It's extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated and really well equipped. We love staying here and would highly recommend this property for anyone coming to explore the NE coast. Access to Edinburgh by train is easy too. You can leave your car at AlunmoutRead moreh or Morpeth and take a direct route to Scotland Hide

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautifully appointed holiday cottage in Amble, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were struck by the attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything was immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and well equipped for a relaxing stay. The cotRead moretage itself is modern and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, with good quality appliances and all the essentials for cooking at home. The living area was a lovely place to unwind after a day exploring the stunning Northumberland coast. Location-wise, the cottage is tucked away in a quiet spot, just a short walk to the harbour, independent shops, and some lovely restaurants. We enjoyed strolling along the pier in the evenings and watching the boats come in. Every detail has clearly been considered, from the welcome basket full of local treats to the helpful guidebook with tips for things to do in the area. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Looking forward to future visits. Hide
