We stayed in another apartment in Coble Quay a few years ago and we were really looking forward to coming back. Seafarer was just as good as we expected but with the added bonus of really comfortable furniture. This is really important because I have a serious spinal injury and we always try to select accommodation based on how comfortable the seatRead mores look. We arent always successful as you can only go by the images provided but we hit the jackpot this time. The seats facing the fabulous view of the marina were great and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable too. The shower in the en-suite is spacious with a great base that isnt slippery. The owner of the apartment has selected quality fixtures and fittings, NEFF appliances and plenty of glasses and crockery. The welcome basket is stocked with everything you need to begin your holiday and a lovely gift of roses was a nice touch. Its in such a perfect spot within walking distance of lovely restaurants, walks and shops and we took good advantage of the fish market, treating ourselves to sea bream and halibut. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and switch off we can highly recommend Seafarer and Amble with all the gorgeous villages and towns around it. The Old Boathouse in Amble has fantastic seafood and friendly staff and Bertrams in Warkworth is another one not to miss. We hope to visit again in the near future and will definitely choose Seafarer for our stay. Hide

We spent a wonderful week exploring this gorgeous part of the UK. Amble, and in particular Seafarer, provided the perfect base. This beautiful apartment is tastefully furnished and finished to a very high spec and so comfortable. Views over the marina and river are spectacular especially at sunset. Seafarer is a lovely apartment in a great location. The views across Amble Marina and as far as Warkworth Castle are stunning, especially from the sunny balcony. Everything you need is provided, all clean and in good condition. We would recommend and book again.

I think this is the 4th time that we have stayed in Seafarer which says everything about it. Everyone who stays with us loves it. The view over the marina from the huge picture window is superb. Even if the weather is bad you can just sit and watch the boats, birds and tides. The beds are very comfortable, and there is plenty of hanging and drawer Read morespace in the bedrooms. Everywhere is clean, and there are bin bags, dishwasher tablets, cling film and kitchen foil in the kitchen. The welcome hamper was great. There was milk and butter in the fridge, and bread, scones, jam, a bottle of wine, cake, crisps, coffee pods and even a block of chocolate. We shall be back! Hide
