This elegant property has been tastefully furnished and enhanced with thoughtful touches throughout to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. Perfectly positioned in the heart of Alnwick, guests can explore the town’s many attractions right from the doorstep, including its arts centre, theatre and cinema, along with a wonderful selection of independent shops, boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants. The world-famous medieval Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden, home to the Duke of Northumberland, are a must-see and are located just one mile away. A short drive of around four miles brings you to the sandy beach at Alnmouth, ideal for a seaside picnic or a leisurely stroll. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the coastal course overlooking the beach, while the village itself offers welcoming shops and eateries. Further afield, visit Warkworth Castle (6.5 miles) or take a scenic walk along the River Coquet to the bustling harbour town of Amble (9 miles), renowned for its marina and excellent seafood restaurants.

Step through the front door into the light-filled, open-plan living space, where underfloor heating throughout the ground floor adds year-round comfort. Expansive windows and French doors frame lovely garden views, while comfortable seating invites you to unwind after a day of exploring. Enjoy evenings with the Smart TV or relax by the contemporary wood-burning stove. Luxurious accommodation. Top quality fixtures and fittings. Spacious and well located for walking into Alnwick or travelling to other parts of Northumbria.

Ten out of ten couldn't recommend more highly. Everything is top notch from fixture and fittings to the bedding and towels. Super comfy beds and every thing well equipped with nothing missing. Estelles Rest is such a lovely place to stay. Its location is ideal for exploring Alnwick and other areas of Northumberland. A hidden gem but I suspect not for much longer - everything you need is achieved , beautiful decoration , unbelievable bedding and towels so much so that weve bought the same for home

We stayed at Estelle's Rest for 7 nights and we can not fault the accommodation or it's location. The property has been thoroughly planned to meet the needs of everyone who stays here. The kitchen is superb and every utensil, crockery and all white goods are beyond expectation. Bedrooms and bathrooms are exceptional and comfortable with beautiful lRead moreinen's and restful pillows. Estelle is very knowledgeable, supportive, friendly and available if you should need anything, without being intrusive. We did not manage to use the hot tub but it is well maintained and easily accessible. You are able to walk into Alnwick and also park at Alnmouth Station for train services. There are parking discs available for town parking and easy parking at the cottage too. The welcome gift of delicious food was very helpful and kind. We hope to return one day and we wish everyone who stays at Estelle's Rest a wonderful and relaxing stay. Hide

Beautifully finished accommodation. Good quality fixtures and fittings. Very good location near to all of Alnwick's attractions. Parking is outside the property and there is a lovely outside space to relax in on sunny days. Would definitely return on our next visit to Alnwick.

Estelles Rest was a great choice for us. The location was spot on being extremely accessible for just about everything. This holiday home was immaculately clean, very well thought out and so cosy. Estelle the host was always on hand if we needed her (which we didnt) and so friendly and helpful.
