Our Favourite Romantic Things to Do…

Romantic things to do in Northumberland

We all know what February 14th means, it is the day cupid brings all us love birds together. Whilst were all feeling loved up in the office we thought we would write about our most romantic things to do in our stunning county.

Beth loves nothing more than a lazy morning and going for a leisurely brunch.
It is safe to say I am not a morning person. So, when the opportunity of a lie in comes around I jump at the chance. I love nothing more than morning with our puppy Flynn.
The key to my heart is definitely through food. My partner Sam knows this trick, so we regularly hit our favourite spot – The Running Fox in Felton for brunch. The food here is incredible, and they even give you bread to feed the ducks at the river.

Kat loves a romantic walk, no matter the weather!
I know some people think the idea of walking is not romantic at all. However, getting all wrapped up, and getting out and about is my idea of a perfect day. Michael (my partner) wasn’t a one for walking when we first met, but I have managed to talk him around and now even he loves going to Cragside or Thrunton Woods and spending hours exploring.

Stephanie loves a good spa day.
There are plenty of Spas in Northumberland, so I have made it my mission to try each one. I am a good ¾ of the way through. It is tricky when I work weekends and my partner works week days so we cherish our time together, this usually means falling asleep in the spa, but hey at least we are together! My favourite spas include The Secret Spa at The Village Farm, Doxford Hall & Slaley Hall.
