A little word from the owners…
“We all love spending time in Warenton, as soon as we drive through the gates the peace and tranquility embrace us, we can switch off and take time out from our hectic life. We feel extremely lucky to be able to call this little piece of paradise our second home and we hope you will enjoy staying here as much as we do. We are spoilt with so many places to see and visit within the immediate area, we have quite a few places still to explore ourselves. One of our favourite walks is along Bamburgh beach with the magnificent castle rising above the dunes.
Our photograph shows us looking towards The Cheviots by the Cup & Ring marks at Chatton Park Hill which is a couple of miles from The Granary. The Cup & Ring are marks are fascinating, they were made between 4000 to 5000 years ago and definitely worth the short walk from the road.
The dark skies in Warenton are an ideal opportunity to spend time star gazing as we are close to the designated Northumberland Dark Sky Park, we never cease to be amazed by the sheer number of stars sparkling in the sky.
We truly hope you enjoy your time at The Granary.
Andrea, Stuart & Harry”
