Property code: OC-COQ41

Stay at the heart of it all in bustling Amble, just moments from its vibrant Harbour Village and a short stroll into the town centre. Harbour Village, only metres away, lines the water’s edge with its colourful row of pastel beach huts, home to independent gifts, unique crafts, and freshly caught seafood. In fact, seafood is in abundance here, with pubs, restaurants and shops all offering their catch of the day. From the marina, follow the path along the River Coquet to Warkworth (1.5 miles). This neighbouring village brims with history, boasting a majestic 12th-century church and the atmospheric ruins of Warkworth Castle. Continue on to Warkworth Beach (2.5 miles), a wide sandy stretch perfect for ballgames, fishing, bracing walks and surfing. You’ll also find a surf school here, offering equipment hire and guided activities.

Enter via the shared doorway and take the lift or stairs to the first floor. Inside, the apartment is set across two levels, linked by an internal staircase. On the first floor, a handy WC sits just off the hallway, while a large open-plan living space provides the perfect setting to unwind. The kitchen, with its pretty painted cabinets and bespoke tiling, is well equipped for transforming fresh seafood into memorable meals. Dine together at the table before sinking into the comfy sofas in the stylish lounge area. Floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors frame panoramic views across the marina, creating a calm backdrop for conversation, while a wall-mounted Smart TV is on hand for entertainment. Upstairs, three bedrooms each feature their own Smart TV, unique décor and inviting design. The super-king-size and king-size rooms are at the front of the apartment, so you wake to sea views, while the rear twin offers a quieter setting. The master bedroom is complete with a chic en-suite, including a walk-in rainfall shower, while the main shower room has ornate tiling and a walk-in shower.

Step out from the lounge via French doors to enjoy the balcony, a decked space with glass balustrade, seating and a hot tub. Soak in the bubbles as the sun sets over Amble’s marina, drink in hand. The property has one allocated parking space in the development’s car park, with additional public parking nearby.

Five of us celebrated my 70th birthday. We were blown away by this amazing property and the stunning location. The property was immaculately clean and had every we needed. The luxury of a balcony with a hot tub was the icing on the cake. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful fortnight at Hemingway's in Amble. The apartment is a very special property. It feels like a house, over two floors, but its elevated location provides great views over the marina towards Warkworth, with the castle prominent. The balcony was a particularly lovely place to sit out and enjoy evening sunshine. It was a well-equippedRead more holiday property, especially in the kitchen (the only criticism is that 6 mugs for 6 people felt a little sparse). The furnishings were comfortable and accommodated 6 adults well. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all top notch - very comfortable beds, and excellent showers. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Amble has great facilities, lovely places to eat (the Fish Shack is particularly good) and the development is next door to the peerless Spurreli's ice cream parlour. Highly recommended. Hide

For a family that likes to visit the area that they are holidaying in, and to explore its natural and historical attractions Hemingway's was the perfect base to return to in the evenings to relax, and enjoy the view from the balcony hot tub.

What an excellent property this is. Tony and his team are also very friendly and helpful. The views from the balcony over the Marina and river cockett were helped by the gorgeous weather. The hot tub was well used by our party. Very comfortable beds and pillows and slept very well. Only glitch is the other half of the site caters for bikers, walkerRead mores and schools. We had a school party in that were quite boisterous until 9pm in two evenings. Would definitely be return Hide
