Kids of all ages love our cottages. Not just because they’re a base to have great days out from – at the beach, exploring great castles like Alnwick Castle (used in the Harry Potter films), hiring bikes to go exploring – but because after they get ‘home’ to their holiday cottage, there’s still so much to do!

• Billy Shiel’s Farne Island Boat Trips in Seahouses gives you and the kids a chance to see ocean-faring birds and seal colonies up close.
• And when the little ones need a pick-me-up, Morwick Ice Cream Parlour near Warkworth is an award-winning dairy which makes THE MOST delicious ice cream in a constantly evolving range of natural flavours.
